Handling money

In today’s Numeracy lesson, Primary 7 pupils worked in pairs to apply their understanding of money, addition, subtraction, and problem?solving to a real?life context. Using a menu from their local Chinese takeaway, Happy Valley, pupils calculated the total cost of different meal combinations. They compared prices, explored value for money, and practised accurate written methods for handling money.
